When a hot chick asks me if I want to meet in the parking lot, I should really meet in the parking lot. Even if it is just to trade coffee for wine.

I haven't written since before the Pigface/TKK show, so I'll mention what I remember from that in leiu of catching up for real.

There were five bands, three of which I'd seen before. I hadn't realized I'd seen Voodou before at the last TKK show. Ziggy's has a better perspective on the back, so I got to see more of the lead singer. Great voice, and very sweet looking.

Bile was just plain silly. They had the cookie monster voice and the lame torture film backdrop. The less said the better. Their one saving grace was an Alice Cooper cover.

Zeromancer was pretty darn punk, and the ladies with me really dug the keyboard player. They also did a cover "Send me an Angel".

Groovie Mann (of TKK fame) was just this side of too chemically altered to perform. Watching him reel around on stage was entertaining. Watching him reel around the crowd afterwards was less so.

Pigface was everything I wanted it to be, except that Chris Connelly (sp?) shaved his head (this caused much wailing and gnashing of teeth among several of my female friends). Having three female vocalists on stage doing the Pigface thing was an experience in itself. It reminded me of how far I've drifted from industrial, and what it's done in my absence. I miss the glamour.

And the hot goth chicks. I miss the hot goth chicks. (sigh)

anne's POSSLQ Chris is staying at my house over the next few days. It's been way fun so far. Looking forward to more drunken ramblings tonight, and tomorrow.
